Veterinary Associates of Westville's Support Staff
Debbie has worked at the clinic for over 20 years. She is a veterinary assistant helping out in the exam rooms, doing routine laboratory tests, and helping as a receptionist. She prepares vaccines and other medications, and she helps restrain the pets for examinations. Debbie is in charge of sending out reminders to clients for their pet's needed health care. She also orders the prescription foods that we offer our clients. She has 2 lovely daughters.
Debbie also has 4 cats and a dog named Luigi who you may see at the office
Laura began working at the clinic in March of 2018. She has over 11 years working as a veterinary technician. She loves large breed dogs having two Bernese Mountain Dogs - Nessie and Evie. Laura also has two black cats. She lives in New Haven with her husband Tim who is a surgical resident at Yale. In her free time she enjoys hiking, fishing, and camping.
Lauren has worked with us for three years. She is going to Quinipiac University with an eye on going to veterinary school. Lauren has three Labrador Retrievers at home.
Pia is our newest addition. She came to the Central Hospital with a mangled rear leg and tail. They had to be amputated, but she is a happy kitty in her new home.
Virgil came to us as a stray needing a home. He had a badly injured toe that had to be amputated. He was our good-will ambassador. Virgil died of intestinal cancer. We all miss him very much.
Finn is Dr. Aldrich's yellow lab. He is often at the office. He is a therapy dog now, and he volunteers at Yale New Haven Hospital weekly. Our staff has many years of experience, and they can offer a wealth of knowledge to help and advise you on pet care. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
