Debbie DeGennaro:
Debbie has worked at the clinic for over 17 years. She is a veterinary assistant helping out in the exam rooms, doing routine laboratory tests, and helping as a receptionist. She prepares vaccines and other medications, and she helps restrain the pets for examinations. Debbie is in charge of sending out reminders to clients for their pet's needed health care. She also orders the prescription foods that we offer our clients. She has 2 lovely daughters.
Debbie also has 4 cats.
Jackie Boughton:
Jackie has worked at the office for over 15 years. She is a veterinary assistant helping to draw blood as well as assisting in the lab, in the exam rooms, and in the front office. Jackie is in charge of ordering the drugs and supplies. She lives with a new kitten named Loretta . Jackie is an ardent Giants football fan.
Rob MacRitchie
Rob joined the staff in June 2010. After decades of practicing physical therapy, she is enjoying her "retirement" working with animals. In addition to her part-time work in the office, she volunteers at the Mystic Aquarium, owns Haus Wonnebach German Shepherds and is a wildlife rehabilitator specializing in orphaned baby raccoons.
Mary Tedford
Mary joined the staff in the spring of 2011. She also works as an emergency technician at New Haven Central Hospital. She and her fiance John run the Purr Project, Inc., a feline rescue organization. Mary and John live in New Haven with their 8 cats. Crazy cat people!
Virgil
Virgil came to us as a stray needing a home. He had a badly injured toe that had to be amputated. He is our good-will ambassador. Be careful or he may steal your seat in the exam room.
Max is often at the office. He is Dr. Aldrich's dog. Max is a 10 year old yellow Labrador Retriever who has gone through Delta Society training to become a therapy dog. He visits children at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Finn:
Finn is Dr. Aldrich's new puppy. He is often at the office. Not ready for Delta Society yet!
